Homescapes is very similar to Gardenscapes game. Both have the same gameplay concept. in both games, you have to combine traditional match-3 mechanics with a well-developed storyline
Homescapes story revolves around the main character, Austin. Austin feels lonely and unhappy in his home so he decided to moves back to his parents home and live with them. His parent’s names are Olivia and William.
Austin the Butler returns to his parent’s mansion, where he found his parent’s mansion has fallen into severe disrepair. From there Austin decides to renovate it with the help of players.
Homescapes core gameplay is based on swapping 2 adjacent elements to create a row or column of a minimum of 3 elements. The player will get useful power-ups and activate them by double-tapping them or switching with another element.
To complete levels, the player must complete the listed goals in the level (e.g. collect a variety of certain elements, lay down carpet, remove suds, etc.). by completing levels and goals the player will earn stars, the player can use stars to complete tasks around the house in order to progress further within the game.
